It is with great sadness that we have learnt the death of our Sovereign, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, and we extend our deepest sympathy to all members of the Royal family.

St Michael’s will be open from 9am until 7pm daily during the period of mourning, offering a space to pray and to reflect on the life of an extraordinary monarch, or to light a candle. There will be a Book of Remembrance available and floral tributes (unwrapped) can be left outside of the church porch and will remain there until the day of the funeral.

Gracious God, we give thanks
for the life of your servant Queen Elizabeth,
for her faith and her dedication to duty.
Bless our nation as we mourn her death
and may her example continue to inspire us;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
