Last Tuesday of each month - 2pm - Felton Village Hall
Welcome
Good to see you! Whether you are just looking, visiting the area, returning to church or finding a new place to be, welcome to St Michael & All Angels.
We are the parish church for Felton and the surrounding villages and have a growing church family of all ages. We are people who enjoy coming together to serve God and the local community, both inside and outside our beautiful church building.
Our worship services provide traditional and modern styles of worship. We also continue to meet together during the week for friendship, prayer and bible study. We offer a range of activities for our younger members and we encourage our children and young people to take an active part in church life.
St Michael’s offers a warm welcome to everyone, whatever their personal experience, background or stage of faith. We want people to join us just as they are and feel at home. There’s no dress code, no rules and no expectation - just a warm welcome and a great God, doing great things.
St Michaels and All Angels is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults and creating protective and supportive environments where all people, and especially those who may be vulnerable, are able to worship and pursue their faith journey in safety. We follow the national legal and procedural framework for safeguarding children and adults, and Church of England policy and practice. A copy of St Michael's Safeguarding Policy is available here. The Diocese of Newcastle Safeguarding webpages are available here. For the Church of England's National Safeguarding Information please click here. Sundays at St Michael's
Holy Communion is at the heart of parish worship, and we celebrate this each Sunday in one of our two weekly services:
8am Service A traditional said service held each Sunday in the Chancel. Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday apart from the first Sunday of the month.
11am Service A service for the whole church family at 11am each Sunday. With weekly activities for the children, and refreshments at the end of the service. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month.
The 5 O'clock An informal contemporary gathering for the whole church family, starting at 4.30pm with refreshments on the 3rd Sunday each month. Followed by a meal together afterwards.
We have a range of services, gatherings and home groups taking place at other times.
If you haven’t been to church before you may wonder what it will be like. Do join us and you will find a warm welcome.
