Being a young person today can be both complex and confusing. As children grow up at St Michael’s we continue to encourage them into their teenage years, providing a safe space where they can be themselves and feel supported as they make transitions in their lives. We do this in these main ways:
- Involving young people in church life so they feel part of a wider family, feel valued and trusted to take on areas of leadership and responsibility
- Supporting our youth who attend two youth cells running in partnership with Ignite in Alnwick on a Tuesday evening. Friendship is really important and these groups aims to build relationships and peer support as well as regular social meet ups.
