Our most recent Messy Church took place on 26th March and we had a bumper turnout of 28 children plus parents and grandparents.  We had our usual time of crafting and creating and themed on the stories from Palm Sunday and Easter we made our own palm branches to wave, made edible ‘donkey poo'(!!) and used coloured sand to fill crosses with beautiful designs.

Our treasure hunt was to find coloured eggs hidden around the church grounds and then a big group effort to fill and prepare ‘Holy Week Bags’ that we will be handing out at our Palm Sunday service this next weekend. Come along and get a bag and find a new way to look at the story of that first Easter.

Our time finished with a delicious pizza tea and wonderful cakes provided by our wonderful team of bakers. Thank you to them all.

Our next Messy Church is on Sunday 23rd April but we hope to see you at our Easter Services when we will be ‘Rolling the stone away’!
