Food and Fun with Toddly Play

Parents/carers and their 0-4 year olds are guaranteed a warm welcome at our weekly Food and Fun with Toddly Play sessions. Sessions run most Thursdays during term time 9.00am – 11.00am in the community room at St Michael and all Angels Church, Felton. You are sure to be greeted with a smile and a warm drink on arrival where there are plenty of toys to keep the little ones entertained and a delicious breakfast spread available to keep hungry tummies happy! During the session, at approximately 10.00am everyone is invited through into church for Toddly Play. Toddly play is an informal service that begins with lighting the candle and ends with bubble prayers. During the service we share a story, sing songs and explore sensory play trays all linked to the half termly theme. Following Toddly Play we return to the community room for more drinks/food and play. Listen out for the song “Bye Bye Baby” signalling that our time together has come to an end and we look forward to seeing you all the following week. If you would like to join us there is no need to book, just come along each week. Sessions are free but we do ask for a food bank donation to be placed in the collection boxes found in the church foyer. Many thanks for your support. For further information please contact Anne 07963416931 or Carol 07592625353.

Godly Play

Each Sunday at 11am, we have Godly Play sessions and activities for children of all ages. Godly Play is a very different, but amazingly engaging, creative and imaginative method for exploring our Christian faith. It is not about learning lessons, keeping children entertained or telling children what they need to know. It’s about experiencing and exploring the sacred stories of God’s people, of knowing Jesus through his life and his parables and understanding the way in which we approach God though liturgical action.

Messy Church

Messy Church is a way for children and families to experience church outside of a Sunday Service. We usually run Messy Church on Sunday afternoons 3.30-5.00pm on the first Sunday of the month. We publicise the dates via our Social media and website. Everyone is welcome to come and do lots of fun crafts, have a story, songs and share tea together. This is an all age gathering of people exploring faith in a very child friendly way.
