Hurray! ‘Thy Kingdom Come is almost here!’

We are excited about this fourth national prayer time and once again we will have a lot of activity going on across the parish for us to join in and to encourage others to enjoy too.  Huge thanks to the leading team and everyone who helps along the way.

We are going to do three main things through all the activities:

  • Pray on the Holy Spirit to fill us as a church, to empower us to follow our vision and to ‘go out’ as a Church. We will use the Try Praying booklet to guide our prayers.
  • Pray with and for others in our communities / Parish and enable them to have prayer and feel able to pray.
  • Pray for one (or more) friend to know the love of Jesus. Pray that God makes a way for you to hand on the Try Praying book to them.

There is an opportunity to sign up in church for an hour as part of our 24 hour Prayer Day (8am Saturday 8th June to 8am Sunday 9th June.)

See the Events Calendar for a full programme of events throughout the 10 days.
